WHY THIS COMPANY EXISTS
Perry Controls started with a pattern its founder saw over and over as a field technician: a building gets turned over, the controls are “done,” and six months later he’s standing in the mechanical room tracing points that were never tested, running sequences that were never loaded.
The install crew had moved on. The programmer never saw the site. The commissioning window got compressed to protect the TCO date. Nobody did anything wrong, exactly. The work just passed through too many hands, and the checkout — the part that makes a control system a system — belonged to none of them.
This company is the fix he wanted to hire: one technician who lands the points, writes the sequences, and signs the checkout sheet. When the scope of who does the work never changes hands, nothing falls between them.
THE BELIEF
Buildings fail at commissioning, not installation.
The wire gets pulled. The controllers get mounted. What gets skipped, when the schedule tightens, is proving the system actually does what the sequence says. Every service call we’ve ever run traces back to that skipped step.

The scope lists points, not promises
Every quote includes the points list and the exclusions. If it isn’t on the list, we both know it before contract — not at the punch walk.

Points are verified as they land
Point-to-point checkout happens during installation, per point, on paper. Dead points get found the day they’re landed, not the week of turnover.

Sequences are tested under load
A sequence that has only run in simulation hasn’t run. Staging, resets, and safeties get exercised on live equipment before we call anything done.

Documentation ships with the job
As-builts, sequences in plain English, and checkout sheets are part of the scope. The next tech to open the panel shouldn’t have to guess.
WHO’S BEHIND IT
Perry Controls is owner-operated by a working BAS technician — certified on Niagara 4, Trane Tracer, Metasys, and Desigo, and still in the field every week. There is no sales layer and no handoff. The person who scopes your job installs it, programs it, and picks up the phone after turnover.
